Thread and size info needed Esprit 120

Does anyone know how I ( NOT an engineer) can find out (perhaps someone here) what the real actual non standard thread is on the Esprit 120 Skywatcher is please.

I would love to add a baader click lock to it but I understand they don't do an adaptor.

Does anyone recognise this or the company details ?

NO it is not Skywatcher or Baader it is a company ????? who makes the adaptor that fits them

The image is from the precise parts site in the US. They make custom adapters.

Jeremy, the end of the focuser tube on the 3 larger Esprit models (100, 120, 150) is M74x1 as I understand it.

You might be able to find someone who will make a custom adapter to meet one of the ClickLock adapters - which one were you thinking of?

I have the 2" ClickLock diagonal and the front nosepiece unscrews for use on the smaller SCTs directly

Precise parts makes quality stuff, though the price means you really need to measure twice, order once!

Looking at the Esprit manual, it seems the scope comes with an adapter from M74 to M65... which is even more obscure than M74. Telescope-Express has a M74 to M68 adaptor, which means you would at least end up with a pretty common standard. They also sell an M68 to clicklock thread adaptor that can be screwed straight into a clicklock diagonal. Sadly neither of these are cheap and you probably won’t end up much better off price wise then ordering from precise parts, but at least the M74 to M68 adaptor could be handy for other attachments to the scope if you were to go this route.
