The halcyon days of Australia are now lost forever

We are a spent shell in international cricket. I have been flooded with emails from my NZ mates, bagging the absolute out of us. Will Australia ever climb that mountain again??? The new moon must have been too much for us to handle, these are dark days indeed

Sorry mate, which cricket are you actually referring too, your post doesn't make it entirely clear:

. leaping insect; male makes chirping noises by rubbing the forewings together
. a game played with a ball and bat by two teams of 11 players; teams take turns trying to score runs

They're a tough, talented bunch. They'll bounce back as usual, everyone has their off days. We Poms have had an… ummm… off decade, so I wouldn’t worry too much.

Cheers

Dont worry Houghy, we cant be expected to win everything all the time.
A few losses will be good for the team going to the world cup, it will fire them up again.
The pressure is now on South Africa, they are the favourites and the No.1 ODI team at the moment.

Cheers

Gee...

You'd have to say reports of the demise of Aussie Cricket are a tad premature after a very brief losing streak in the one dayers

Anyone remember the last World Cup?

Very average form going in ... rocky start... and then what?

The trophy in the luggage on the flight home
