First Moon Attempt with 12inch

Yes its a dod mount but I had to try it. 12 inch dob reflector, 300d and I think a 2x barlow (dont think I can get prime focus without a barlow..must lookintoit) Got everything on this session wrong but here is the historic shot. (there are others)

Very nice Alex.

When I get my camera (very soon now) I hope mine turn out as clear as yours. Well done. Good detail.

Thanks all, sorry for late reply been in the bush without a computer etc. Hi 67 I dont know what happened to astronomydaily.com, I tried to get on but I thought it was just me... you know I thought they had given me the axe because they had tired of my resident crack pot comments (particularly on grain and my unusual Universe alternatives) I feel better that it is not just me. I hope they are OK and not having personal or financial problems.
My photos are going down the tube it must be the mount(s) I have been really trying but am getting more electric worms than ever.. good to be back
