Artemis USB AutoFocus System

Got one of these laying around, need to clear it away... not going to put an AUS$ as it looks scary Will need a bracket to mount to your focuser but at this price it's a steal. Paypal OK, delivery please add some...

What you get:

Stepper motor control for accuracy.

Simple hand control for visual use.

Computer control for CCD imaging.

USB interface or Artemis expansion port interface.

Simple standalone control program or run from your capture software.

Full ASCOM compatibility.

Temperature sensing.

Temperature compensating.

Upgradeable firmware.

See the Artemis CCD website for details: http://www.artemisccd.co.uk/focuser.htm

Arthur

PS - may trade for TV EP's...

remember this is not *like* new... it *is* new.

Does everything Robofocus does but USB!!

Temperature compensating too!

*Fully* ASCOM compliant - run it from Maxim or any other compliant imaging program!

Mike - it's new, as shown on the Artemisccd website link given... Price would be around £210, AU$500 or so, but as I said, willing to trade for TV EP's!

Attached a few pics from the site... the control box, the hand controller and the stepper (this mounted on an ED80)

I might be interested in the future (for my 12" newt), but can't afford it right now.

How would it attach to a crayford?

Mike - just a bracket similar to the one in the picture above, after removing one of the focus knobs. You would need a small tube to go from the gearbox on the stepper to the focus shaft.

This model of the Artemis focuser will no longer be made sadly.
