Duck..!!!!!

Took the grandkids out while they were here to feed the ducks and managed to get amongst them for some closeup shots, I just love the colours in this one.

Very nice photo - it illustrates well what I love about ducks, that constant, comical smile displayed by all ducks - what do they know that we don't...

nice one Phil....according to my handy Michael Morcombe Bird guide it looks like they are Pacific Black Ducks, the one in the foreground with the strips is a male and the two in the background are his consorts, females, lucky duck ....if they are of this species they are widespread through Australia

Ducks.....!!!!

They look like Mallards to me.
They have orange legs!!!!
any self respective Pacific Black Duck would have dark legs, and live well away from humans, not freeload like their orange footed cousins who are wide spread throuought Australia
