Just wondering if people bother pulling the scope out during the full moon?

Most Definitely!
Sometimes the Moon itself and the features on it are the viewing objective.
A full moon can be frustrating when it isn't the viewing objective, though

For myself this evening, hopes of observing the Moon were dashed first by mozzies in the back yard, and then cloud cover when I'd retreated back upstairs.

Full moon is dedicated to experimentation and testing out new gear.

You can do narrowband Ha imaging during full moon and get good results.

Couldn't agree more. I've been doing the last few nights testing out my new refractor, learning it's little nuances. I used last night to do a worst case scenario ISO and sub length test.

Sure, did on Monday night (clear in Sydney). It doesn't detract from viewing the planets, bright / double stars, even some clusters. It has been a while since I had my scope on the moon, and each time I see different things as the phase differs.

Also collimated a sibling to my scope, the new owner is stoked. Plenty to see at 450X.
