From the other night when I had clear skies... tracking wasn't the greatest that night.

45 sec subs x 37 I culled the subs that went any good, had 100 initially.
20 darks
20 flats
20 bias
ISO 1600
Processed in Star Tools

Nice, star colours and shapes look great. I think your black point has been set a bit low though?

The blacks look a little bit too, well, black.... there could be detail in there lost in the black....

Download the lastest version of GIMP and experiment with the dodge tool.
It surprises me what is hidden when I use it.
Are you using masks yet to colour your stars seperate to the rest?

Slowly working out how to best use star tools, in regard to how to switch the mask over and just deal with the stars. I've noticed how over saturated some of the stars have been. Slowly getting there
