We sometimes get carried away with the processing and "tweaking" of our astro images....
It's not often that I get to see an amazing jaw dropping example of how others can fix up and improve what looks like a useless image.
My wife does family genealogy and obtain an old newsprint image of a great uncle lost in WW1. There were no other family images of William; we didn't know what he really looked like.
One of her forum members obtained the result below in less than a hour!!!
Absolutely amazing.
