Lunar "X" on the Moon AGAIN - First Quarter

Got these last night through my new Orion 180mm Mak-Cass, afocally, one with the camera handheld, one with camera in camera mount. The conditions were terrible, which speaks well of this scope. The F15 is going to be something to get used to.

Can't wait for CLEAR skies!!!!!

Can I put a focal reducer on it if I want to photo the entire moon at once? If I recall correctly from thursday night, I couldn't get the entire "half moon" in the FOV at once, even with my 42mm EP. That would stink if could Only photo closeups now...

Oh, right as I started getting the scope aimed at the moon, a jet flew right past it!!! I was watching it get closer and closer, as I thought it was really going to pass by it, I looked into the EP and a second or two later, boom it went right in front of the moon!!!! That was awesome, I'm still kicking myself that I didn't think to grab the camera and try to get it!!! :foreheadslap: How rare is this...? I think it's the 3rd or 4th time in two years I've seen this. I only was photographically ready once, and missed it...! Anyways, I thought this was a good sign that I may actually get a few breaks between the clouds that night, and I did...
