Is that M7 in the top left? Looks like an good lens. You have a really nice flat field. Colours threw me off at first. I thought you did Ha. If you balance your colors and it's RGB I reckon you'll have a great pic because it seems to be in focus and you've got everything else right. Worth a repro IMHO.

Thanks Logan and Marc for commenting.

I used PI NBRGB script and thought i had balanced it significantly, but clearly not enough. Will give it another try.

Yes Rick, since revised, found it very hard with so much damned signal! Balanced a fair bit better I hope.

Colin I definitely used linearfit on this one, but I think we are dealing with very strong Ha here. Sheesh, these were only 2 min subs and even the Luminance picked up a heap.

I very much miss the SHO-AIP script, wish that came back.

I think I was looking at both of these clusters last night in the Mewlon I saw more star colour but I certainly didn't see any of the Ha

That lens is a pretty good performer Simon. Version B is a definite improvement over A.

Something else that might be worth giving a shot is using only using LinearFit on the R and Ha subs to create a Master Red channel. Then use LRGBCombination to create the RGB image.
I mention this as I've had a couple of instances when I've just been working with pure RGB images that they've ended up very red biased. I did a quick test before and found that in some instances it can be better to just create a Master Red channel and leave the G and B channels alone.

Might be worth giving a shot
