WO-66 on Carina

Hi All,
Some further tests with the WO-66ED Scope, this time on Carina (ngc2277) at Prime Focus (no Focal Reducer, as the Meade F-6.3 reducer definately does not match this scope) Its not bad (im comparing it to the Orion ED80) but focus is somewhat more difficult, The FOV is good for objects like Carina, which is what I bought it for, so now ill chase up a 66mm Fluorite Scope if I can get one at the right price, go the whole hog, Ive added another (cropped) Pix. of M42 taken at the same time as a test of colour resolution, again its not bad, all in all its quite a good scope for astrophotography, just wish they would have made the focusser with more travel, one has to add extension bits for photography.

Pix- M42= 6 x 4 Min. at ISO800, DF removed, guided
Carina= 6 x 6 min at ISO800, DF removed, guided
cheers.........Jim
