Rosette Nebula

What fantastic weather we've been having lately!

First time I have attempted to image this for a few years.
Starting to get a little more proficient with PixInsight - thanks Rick and Colin for the tips with Carina.

For 1.8 hours of RGB that is an excellent result. Oh, to be able to fit the whole thing in frame.

Thanks M&T ... I actually did manage to fit things in, but then decided at the end things looked better rotated. I think there's a lesson in there somewhere ...

...maybe leaving the final cropping until your done processing.
