Well, it is just so hot out here in Broken Hill, I thought I would drag out some happy snaps from our last trip up the Murray River from Hindmarsh Island at Goolwa. Remembering what the water looked like makes me feel better.

About 20 metres from our mooring spot in the willows was a box thorn bush with a family of Blue Wrens living in it. They would visit us regularly through the day, even landing on our mooring ropes. They were quite difficult to photograph as they seem such a hyperactive little bird and were stationary only for a second or two before hopping of rapidly after small white butterfly's in the grass on the river bank.
