I think it is the earth....ian atmosphere that gives it away. I dont thing mars has the blue

I picked the one on the left for two reasons. First was the sky, mars has a pinkish sky during the day with blue sunsets and the other was the mountain range in the background, seen a lot of mars shots and never seen any mountain ranges like that on mars.

I looked at it yesterday and picked the correct one.
However, your link is pointing to the most recent apod which makes your challenge quite confusing.
