A Wider View of the Spider and Surrounds

The cloudy evening weather has been a pain in Sydney for doing imaging but I have managed to collect 6 hours in Ha using the wider field of my 127mm refractor and my QHY16200. Just have to get some more clear skies to grab some decent SII and O3 data.

I'm enjoying the image and the framing - but I think the dynamic range has been compressed too much with the core being excessively burnt in like that - nice details though!

Thanks Andy, I always struggle with deciding what is best looking for the range in this core area.

Great FOV Ted, masses of HII gas in there! Looks like you pushed the sharpening a little too hard though, some of the detail areas look quite granular, still, an impressive field and an easy fix

Thanks Mike, perhaps a little crunchy but then I do like my crunchy peanut butter I'll see where I go with it when and if I get some decent other bands data given the crappy weather.
