b&w osc?

hello members
i have just bought a new dc 201 box and took lights of m8 last night, but when dss stacked them they were black and white and the only control was a b&w slider on dss?
never seen this before
can i, and how do i retrieve the colour pics or are they gone forever
i want to go again tonight while we have the clear skies

You need to get DSS to debayer them. Look for the Raw/FITS DDP setting option on the left hand menu.

i have opened that menu but it says nothing regarding debayering
it is clicked on bilinear interpolation?

QHY cameras produce a FITS file when saving an image.

So you need to setup the camera in the FITS tab as attached, find a camera with the correct bayer pattern.
I use a QHY12 for taking images but use the QHY8 setting for DSS to get the correct bayer pattern.

(Your QHY10 should use the QHY8 setup, the same as mine.)

i have stacked my qhy images before on dss and have not had to change anything to get colour before?
anyhow that seems to have worked thanks mate
