Barnard 33

This is a Primefocus shot of the horsehead 80mm ED s/watcher pro.with canon 350D .mirror lock up on.noise reduction on.About 550 seconds.tracked and guided on a synta EQ5 mount with guide scope attached.used the canon software to get the colour in it . Tony/ Ihave added a bigger pic pf B33 in that Zip attachment.

Welcome to the forums Tony!

Great pic! Do you have a larger version? If the iceinspace 150kb maximum size upload is limiting you then you could maybe use http://imageshack.us/ which is a free service where you can upload pictures up to 1.5Mb

Hope you had a great xmas!

Nice shot of the horsey! color balance is looking good! as well as the guiding.

Set up the scope last night for a go at M42 but alas that band of cloud does not want to move away!

I usually shrink my pic to about 800x600 px and then save a copy for posting (jpeg) and compress from anywhere from 5-10 till the pic is just under 150k in size. In photoshop its good as it tells you the size on the bottom of the form as you move the slider..
If you want to post a higher res pic you can always ues the IIS ftp server. Heres the page to get you going and contact link on the bottom...

I tried using image shack yesterday but things didn't work properly.What is a Blog in image stack. Tony
