My new scope

First and formost, Thanks Phillip I love the scope.
I got to Phillips house around 9.15am after getting lost a few times...somethings never change he he .

Phillip gave me a quick how to and away I went.

just hoping for clear skies tonight.

Great scope have one similar. Try adding some weight to the tripod, I user 11 kgs on the tray. It greatly stabalizes the tripod..also check the wing nuts at the top of the tripod, mine did not get a good purchase and the result a slight shift at times..add some spring type washers that bite stops the problem. I like a long dew cover (2 foot) to enhance the contrast with this scope. Great for the Moon and Planets and not bad for a good deal of DSO, and you must get a solar filter its great for that to.
Good luck they are good robust units add one more bit of glass to the objective and you pay $13000 for a 150 refractor.. these are such great value.
