Absolutely no idea? these motors are internal ones on the eq6, I think the eq5 has external motors and housing. Maybe someone on IIS may know or try a eq5 group?

Will only fit the EQ6 Dave

The HEQ5 has a different control mounting panel.

And yes the EQ5 are external motors.

Hello I just bought a standard EQ6 .Haven't used it yet.What do you think of the EQ6 for tracking for astro Pics .What are the advantages of the Upgrade you fitted.does it improve the accuracy of the mount for the tracking. what was the costof the upgrade.Does the standard EQ6 Track well enough. reghuard's Tony.
