Finally got around to getting a new dog. I thought I would get a picture to show how small he is compared to a two inch diagonal. I have not named him yet.
Hey Bert, he looks like he will turn into a great imaging companion, already knows which end to look into, better than my mutt, he never spends anytime outside with me at night, he reckons night time is for sleeping.
Dear little thing. Nothing like a little friend like that... talking to a dog is better than talking to yourself and they care about how you feel, they hate to see you sad and will try hard to cheer you up.
Thats what I could not stand a bout Sydney no little friends.
Thanks for sharing
alex
He looks like a bright and inquisitive little fellow, and I'm sure he'll make a great companion for you. He IS very cute too ..... all pups are very cute of course, but he looks particularly loveable.
You could possibly call him Spot ... after the splotch his nose might have made on your lens. Ditto Patch perhaps, he even looks like a bit of a Patch.
(unoriginal names I know - sorry)
Or perhaps, knowing how contrary the weather always is, call your new mate "Clouds", that when when you walk around saying "Come here Clouds" the real clouds will obviously do the opposite and bugger off.
You shot of him looking into your eyepiece reminded me of the dog in the logo from HMV (His Masters Voice), looking forlornly into the horn on the Edison hearing a recorded voice. This dog was called "Nipper".
Thanks all. Why I found it hard to get another dog was because my last Jack Russel was nearly eighteen when she died. Her name was PK (Pigeon Killer).
Here is a picture of her at seventeen.
I'm so glad you've got yourself another little mate, Bert.
It's hard when we lose a friend like PK. You don't feel you could ever replace such a special friend, and in soooo many ways you never do.
Each one is different, and each one brings different joys into your life.
I like to keep one thought in mind when I'm debating whether to get another: Every one of these fabulous little critters needs and deserves a good home. They might as well go to someone who will love and cherish them all their life.
