For Sale, EQ-6 Mount with Bartels goto stepper motor conversion and belt drives. Includes, Mount, Tripod, Bartels control Box, all cables and connectors, Compaq desktop computer with Monitor keyboard etc (Celeron 400 I think) to drive Bartels. Scope has (according to Bartels pec routine) a TOTAL PE of 12.3 arc secs. Item is located in Melbourne and since I do not have the original boxes, for pick up only. Happy to Demo. Mount is 18 months old.
$1150 wow great buy for anyone wanting a GOTO mount. Mels system is very good, and works with ALt-Az scopes aswell as EQ mounts. The software is freely available from Mels website http://www.bbastrodesigns.com so upgrading is just a download away. (also anyone with problems can email Mel and you usually get a quick response, or join the scope_drive yahoo group)
Good luck to anyone who buys this, certainly is an afordable way to go GOTO.
It is always the way... i just spent the good part of that asking price on a bundle of imaging and other bits, but i would have prefered that goto mount first anyday

unfortunately the pending sale has fallen through. After asking me to post it as sold, prospective buyer was unable to come to look at it, so it is now back on the market.......
