Christmas pressies!

I must have been a good boy this year cos I got heaps of pressies. But this one stands out. It's a full spectrum modified 1100D. But being a Pentax and Nikon user I will have to learn how to fly it! Look out Ha nebula!

My apologies to everyone in Mackay for making it rain.

Nice one Kevin it will be interesting to see the results. I have a spare 1100d and a 450d sitting around and have been thinking about having a go at modding one of them.
I got a little 50mm guide scope for xmas so I guess we are both pushing the clouds a bit. looking pretty clear atm but that will invariably change when the sun goes down.

Thanks Rick. Got a few quick 30 second shots between clouds tonight. Just processing them to see what it's like. Very hot though. Air temp is 27c.

Nice one Kevin

There's just enough space between the sensor and the main circuit board in the 1100D to slip in a cold finger

Needs one too here in the tropics. It's very noisy at 27c.

These are the best Mal!
No astro stuff for me either this year, but got a new printer - nothing to be very excited about!

The boy got me a ChromeCast thing. Never heard of them before.
Plugged it into HDMI3 on the amp and the network with a wire.
It lets you sling almost anything to the big amp/tv from your phone or PC.
Magic.
