Thank You to Simmo W

Just wanted to give a thank you shout out to Simon (SimmoW) who gave me a hint on Saturday night at the ASV Star B Que that seems to have paid off. I have had persistent issues with gear suddenly disconnecting when setting up and during imaging runs. Simon suggested turning of a setting in Windows that allows Windows to manage the power levels in USB ports. Suddenly the disconnects have stopped!
Another example of the generosity in the amateur astro community.

Thanks Simon!

Malcolm

Interesting ..!! Do you want to share ? I have some issues with work PC's that involve 'flaky' USB connections that might benefit from the info.
