Canon 40D Astro Mono Mod

I am happy, after reading almost all the forums i could, i managed to transform a Canon 40D into a 40Da-M hehehehe

Opened the camera and extracted the sensor, got rid of the blue filter and also Debayered the sensor the best i could......

Attached a photo of the first test complete frame and second photo cropped....

i have to open it again. i need to clean up more CFA from the sensor and polish it ...

Now i have to come up with a cooling solution

Nice work. I'd suggest a cold finger build as being the best working solution. Cold box's just don't work well at all.
I haven't seen any details for the 40D internals but there is plenty of pix and examples from myself and others on here to help with similar models like the 450D.
