Border Stargaze 2007

As some of you are aware the ASAW is going to hold its inaugural Star Party, Border Stargaze from August 10TH to 12TH 2007.

Recently we were asked by our Society to let our members who haven't attended a star party know what it's all about.
So Dave (The Unbeliever) and I compiled some images and they were literally stuck together into an 8 Min audio visual.

Those that have contributed (you know who you are) thank you once again, due recognition is given in the credits. Dave thanks for your effort in this compilation mate.

For anyone who is interested in viewing, you can download here:-
BORDER STARGAZE 2007 For those on dial up be warned this a 77MB zip-file.

Thanks for looking.

And it's a pretty cool production too John, played it a number of times.

I presume it's the one you loaded on my lappy at Vic South

I have to say that the overall production gave me goosebumps, John. Seeing such a plethora of scopes, such wideranging observing sites, the movement from light to darkness, the great astrophotography, together with very apt soundtrack made for compelling viewing. Well done, congratulations to all who were involved.

Oblique references to strip teases will now make sense to those who previously did not know why I was being encouraged to do a repeat performance...... All I can say in my defence is, it was VERY cold at Ilford in 2006, and I was prepared to do just about anything to keep warm.
