Meade SCT f6.3 focal reducer

Hi all,

I was thinking on buying the Meade #07545 SCT f6.3 focal reducer for use with my Celestron C6 and C8 SCTs.

Is there any difference between the Meade and the Celestron focal reducers?

Has anyone had visual experience using these? I mainly want it for lower power sweeping views with a Naglar 20mm Ep and for photographing the Moon with my DSLR crop sensor.

Is the correction noticeable ?

Thanks

Gday Nicolae

There are 2 versions of Meades 6.3 reducer.
The later models focus at about 45mm behind the reducer, hence are useless for visual. The earlier ones focussed at about 110mm.
You really need to determine what version it is before anything else.
