hello friends!

it's been quite a while since my last posting to the group...so many "other" thinkgs in life took my attention...but now it's time again for the fun stuff, like astro-photograhy!

today I may proudly present a result of processing some keen data out of Australia. MY friend Eric Benson collected excellent data with his 20" CDK and a large scale Apogee CCD. (roughly 22 hours of LRGB data).
it was such a pleasure to "deliver that baby" and watch it being given birth to (-:
the background was so harmonic, it didn't need any treatment.

I hope you like what you get to see just as much as we do.

Wow. Super low noise and a heap of detail. Like the colour rendition as well.

Looks like it's 20" galaxy season on IIS!
