Worlds biggest amateur telescope

Just came across this, a 70 inch DOB.
Its a 3 year old article so you may have seen it before.

Bloody good on him, but is it any good, optically?!

Haven't seen any captured images so far..

I'm not sure if they are there to dress up the news story, but the first 14 seconds of the video shows some crackers (possibly NASA/Hubble images)
