SMC in More Detail

I think this is a nicer image of the edge of the SMC. Lots of stars, and also NGC 346 and friends are centred nicely. The spacewalk version is pleasing.

Just goes to show what very good focus and very good tracking does. All the dim stars appear out of the noise. Very nice image Bill. Do you have software that does Richardson Lucy enhancement. I ran your 1.6MB pic through ImagesPlus 5x5 for 10 cycles. Came up very well. Would be better with the original Tiff.

Great image.

These are magnificent images.

There is so much detail, and so much going on. Wow!

Well done, mate.

Both versions are very pleasing - thankyou for sharing. Great appreciation of how many objects, stars are out there.

Cheers Petra
