HDR RGB Orion

Only a small amount of data, had hoped for a lot more but the weather has been pretty average. Not sure if I'm happy with the processing yet, might try some decon and I'm not sure about the colours.

That looks awesome Tim, lots of detail and the colour looks OK by me. Plus the trapezium is not blown away like the last one of mine.

How do you get that much image size and resolution under 200Kb, every time I post a pic I have to reduce the image to almost 800x600?

I like the image. Nice colors and the trapezium easily visible. More data will make it even better.

It's actually about 2mb dunno why it says it's 200kb. I just resample to 1920 resolution and save as a jpeg.

That's quite a good M42 Tim! You have handled the blending of the bright trap area very well, with smooth natural transitions, which is pretty rare to see, nice job, well done!

As for the colour, there are many variations that look good and this looks good. Slight purple cast perhaps but still looks good

Mike
