M45 from Snake Valley

This is ~3 hours worth - Canon 450D cooled -10C ISO800 average 3 minute subs. Takahashi FS60CB.

Processed with my own script, "iCAPS" and post processing in StarTools - Scientific colour rendering. It has potential - not there yet.

Read noise is high but detail is coming through. ISO1600 is likely better to get more background. If the weather improves I'll be giving it another go tonight.

The image compression isn't doing it any favours but that looks nice, Rowland.

Not the easiest target I was to discover. Have several more hours to add.

The attached was processed on my laptop so colour is likely off.
