Orion + Barnards Loop

Had a productive first light with my 85mm lens. This is 89x60s at F/1.8 taken with my very Ha insensitive Nikon D700.

What I am unsure of is whether on the lower left corner is real or not? From looking at other images on the web it should be dark on the other side of Barnards Loop. Is it incorrectly subtracted glow?

In this time of the year, the lower left part of the image is closest to the horizon, which means that any skyglow (natural or light pollution) makes this brighter appearance.
But the red streaks in the lower left (but off the corner) are real. Thai is the Barnards Loop.

Thanks Gotta try multiple rounds of DBE then!

60s of work, two passes of ABE and I think it's largely fixed

Very nice Colin. What ISO was this?

There is a possibility that red corner glow is amp glow. Did you use darks?
Its probably light pollution but amp glow is a magenta colour.

Used ISO1600 which gives a read noise of 3.9e- and a dynamic range of ~9.5 stones if memory serves.

I had 60x60s darks (just kept it going until it flattened the battery as the moon was up).

Pretty sure it isn't amp glow as it I didn't have the same problem with the LMC shot. It was probably the DBE struggling due to Barnards Loop.
