Managed to bag it tonight, windy in Melbourne but sort of clear

Do you have a "before" picture? If not, perhaps you could take an "after" picture in a couple months.

It's easy when the mount is permanently placed on a pier... So it is only a lens and camera (and couple of other small accessories) to carry out.
I think I may have "before", but with another lens.. .I have to dig into my archive.

Found previous image, from dark(er) site (Seymour), taken on 26/12/2011.
The image is significantly deeper than yesterdays one, despite the much smaller lens.

Canon 100mm f/2.8 at f/4, Canon 400D, ISO800, stack 16x1min.
Position of nova is marked.
