the Grus Quartet

Hi all,

Image consists of 7.5 hours of luminance data with 2 hours of red, green and blue data. Taken with a TEC 140 with FF on an Astrophysics1100 mount with a SBIG 8300m with self guiding filter wheel.

Taken from the beautiful light polluted region of the Sunshine Coast.

The high resolution image can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/134809...posted-public/

Please feel free to offer advice and suggestions.

thanks

Mark

Nice composition and detail, Mark. I'd try to bring out a bit more blue but you've done a nice job!

Nice one Mark. There is a lot of detail in the individual galaxies. Good to show all 4 (rather than just the close triplet). Colour does look a bit too orange.

Nice shot, Mark. I don't know why, but this lot always remind me of either a drawing compass or a pair of chopsticks!!! Must be going mad

Beautiful work Mark. Its a challenge to start bringing out detail in these galaxies, and you've succeeded in showing lots here. Really enjoyed this one.
