Fall Colors

Here are two random pictures from my side of the world. This was from the new Digital Rebel XTi I bought after picking your brains for advise about it. Thanks for all the good help by the way... I love this thing!

I know I promised some astrophotos but it's been raining and overcast for weeks. The one day I could get some nice images was the day I was in the city. Unfortunately, Lancaster Pennsylvania isn't nearly as beautiful as Australia, but you can see some nice things in a stroll through town.

These are through the standard 18-55mm lens. I have slightly larger versions here and here... (didn't resize em small enough the first time)

Enjoy!

Cheers Petra

Right, TK, let's see how many I can get wrong.

1) A pumpkin that escaped the Hallo'ween frenzy
2) Marigolds (looking a bit sad)
3) Corn (even sadder)
4) The deep red/maroon flowers with the yellow centres I can't identify.

My wife is much more clever than am I when it comes to this sort of thing so, please, forgive me.

Nice 'photos. I like them both.
