B75 and B72 with Stellarvue SVA-130T

Dark Nebulae B75 and B72 are part of a gigantic complex of dust in Ophiuchus.

I shot this incredible area of sky with a Stellarvue SVA-130T triplet apochromatic refractor on loan from Stellarvue for a review in the November 2016 issue of Sky & Telescope magazine.

It was shot with a full-frame unmodified Canon 6D on loan from my good friend Joe Stieber.

It is a composite stack of 30 five-minute exposures at ISO 800 at f/5 with the f/5 with matched SFFR.72-130 Focal reducer / Field Flattener.

Looks really good. Maybe a tad red. Did that field at astrofest. Lots of other dark goodies in the area.
