28 inch f/4,8 Bino Telescope

While checking out bino scope designs i stumbled across this one, WOW. 28 inch f/4,8 Bino Telescope of Joerg Peters, check out the engineering construction and mirror making of this one below.

Gotta love that German precision engineering.

BTW I know a couple of amateur astronomers up your way - one in Ellalong and one probably 5 minutes outside Ellalong - the latter is building a 16" Binocular telescope !

Yes Mark it looks like German engineering at its best, i noticed the fatigued look on his face in one of the photos of him grinding the mirrors he looked like he had done an all nighter grinding but was still happy, i guess you can relate well to that.

Yes i know another iis member is in ellalong zardos123 Brad and one of the local school teachers mentioned another in the area, I would love to see the views through a 16 inch bino scope in the local area.
