Another type of lunar diamond ring

I was imaging the Moon with my 12-inch Dob last night when I came across this lovely crater. It is Proclus crater near Mare Crisium and its walls really light up with reflected sunlight. Also looked lovely through the eyepiece.

Nice! I've always liked that one, even as a kid. In fact, I think tonight is a good night for the western side (near Grimaldi) because of maximum libration.
