I've been told again....
.... I have been told by the Medico's to be very careful ... on new medicine and I'm not allowed to do anything that will cause issues .... still getting AF ( uncontrolled heartbeat ) ... it does settle after some time , but have to rest...no lifting....no perving ( upset the heart rate ) or strenuous activity... keep life simple.
If I don't, I can only blame myself and give grief to my better half...
I will keep the 80mm f/15 .... the others can go if anyone wants a nice Scope from my listings.
I'll do my best to stay above ground ....
Col.....

Take care of yourself Col - and remember that having a hobby like this that brings your enjoyment, relaxation and peace is also good for your health. (Even though it may not always seem that way - courtesy of the weather! )

Thanks Paul, Jennifer, Morton and Richard ..... it is what it is, but I must do what I'm told.
I'd like to think that my time will be much later...much much later in fact.
I have to have regular checkups at different intervals and wear a portable ' ECG ' for a period of time.

Sad news Col, and I wish you all the best, and if possible, a rebound to good health.
Of course, if you do get that rebound, you're going to miss those scopes :-)

I'm glad you kept the Genesis, that is definitely a lifetime scope.
I hope everything works out. I had a heart attack and bypass when I was 50. I kept some of my Astro gear and am now slowly getting back into it.
Cheers

Yes ...thanks Paul, will only be better I hope ...don't want to go down hill.
Eat the right food ... stay away if possible from stressful situations...turn the TV off when the Politicians come on , but the years are moving on ...it is what it is.
I withdrew the TV Genesis as no one was showing any interest ( plenty of lookers ) I know it was only up for about 24hrs, but a Scope like this does not come up very often.... in fact I have listed it 2 times before....guess it's not the Scope people desire.
I may pass it on to my Son-In-Law in the future.

Hang in there, I have a long time friend who has had 3 major heart
attacks, a triple bypass 25 yrs ago, another triple 5 yrs ago, and he is still going strong. If he can do it, you can.

Col, you should be mindful of casting aside those things that deliver enjoyment and satisfaction. Maybe a neat fast little APO triplet from the proceeds of your sale? Cheers
