Mars 29th+30th June - fair seeing

SPX350, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB filters. Mars F41.3 Saturn F34.5.

Jet Stream was pretty strong but seeing was not that bad. My scope now only has about 90 mins from sunset to cool down before I start imaging which is just about long enough with the fan on.

Mars is showing a strong phase now (93.5%) and is a little smaller (16.5") and way past its best. I gave Saturn a quick go on 29th before packing up and cloud came in after an hour with Mars on 30th, I may get a final chance with Mars at the weekend 2/3rd July.

Regards, John.

Oh, stop it! No-one can consistently be that good at Mars!

Admit it ... you're actually a Martian and you're just trotting out holiday snaps.

Another fine set John, looks like the seeing was gradually improving too. Thanks for sharing!
