I just put down my phone after an on-air interview with 2BS Bathurst Radio.

An interesting little chat...seems they also liked my plane in front of the Sun..or "is that the moon?" ...sigh...Anyway I'm grateful that the Media is giving CWAS some coverage.

Without keeping Astronomy in the public eye I suspect we'll continue to see
the Pollies and bureaucrats try to make funding cuts due apathy.

yes i agree great for some media coverage - and as Peter says we need more of it. hopefully it gets a lot more after the comp finishes.

congrats to all those who made the short listing, alas i had my first crack this year with my https://www.flickr.com/photos/803366...blic/lightbox/ running chicken but of course to no avail

but wow when you see Troy's, Alex's, Phil's and the two Peters etc etc they really are just a cut above and fantastic (and stefans saturn!).
