Centaurus A

I am still having major issues with the tracking on my mount but i through i would post this one anyway. i have figured out a way to make the tracking errors not result in egg shaped stars, rather they are just massively bloated. anyway. this is a relatively short image 15X5 min RGB subs, no Lum. i am trying something out for the lum and will post the results if it works.

a higher...ish res version can be found on my facebook page

Every image is getting you nearer to falling into the abyss of the main forum.
Seriously though, very nice, improving rapidly.

It is still looking pretty good Aidan

If you are getting eggy stars, what you can do in PI if you just work in RGB at the moment is create a luminance from all of the RGB data. Playing around with the rejection you can make those stars look a lot better.

i use PS, not PI but if there are any ideas i am all ears. the lack of luminance was just a timing thing. i intend on getting lum data for all my images.
