Downloaded the e version of the US Sky and Telescope yesterday and this month they have sketches in their gallery feature. And Alex features with some mindblowingly good sketches!!

Nice one Alex

Hey, thanks for the note and kind words,

I'm waiting on my copy to come through. A US friend sent me this pic. Sorry for the inverted images - if I get them this way as an email, the image stay this way when I upload them here instead of being the right way around,

Good work Alex,

I looked over your article on the Mellish Technique last week. I was inspired to try my hand at sketching the moon. Weather permitting I'll get to try it this weekend.

Keep it up.

Alex. When showed Fiona (the SWMBO) your sketch of Maginus, her reaction was "Oh My God! it looks three dimensional"

Fantastic job Alex! Sketching does take out the need for taking thousands of images and stacking them
They're fantastic!

Always enjoy your sketches, great to see them recognized in publication.

@Malcolm, too late, already got a craned neck from reading it upside down

I bet you didn't even notice. That's what too much time at the eyepiece does to you

And congratulations, well deserved, your drawings are outstanding.
