Pleiades

Ha again all

This is a shot of the Peiades again taken from Coonabarabran, another first for me and the last of the shots from Coona.

Exposure time was 2 minutes x 30, shot through a ZS 66SD/.8 reducer with a SXV-H9C ccd and guided with a ZS110 on a G11 mount.

AA3 was used to capture align & combine and CS2 for post processing.

OK its a fair image (ok one of the pearlers I have seen on this object) but I seem to be missing the point with your processing technique, whats AA3? I am amazed as to the amount of nebulousity you have captured, were the conditions a major contributing factor for that do you think?

Louie,

You just had to one-up me, didn't you!

I love this image. Beautifully processed.

All it's missing is diffraction spikes, and it'd be just like mine. ~~~

Regards,
Humayun

On your question of what is AA3? that is Astroart 3, software which I use to capture combine & align my subs.

Very nice indeed Louie, the fine nebulosity looks like it has been air brushed around the stars.
I'm still waiting to have a go at it, currently it is hiding on the other side of the house, I'll have to wait a bit longer.

Cheers
