https://www.flickr.com/photos/rakibu...66461/sizes/k/

A bit of a repro with additional data from a second scope. Probably clipped the black slightly more than my liking without realizing.

Data: 30+ hrs of data in 3nm accross Ha,S2,O3
Scope: TEC160FL @F7 mostly (FLI 16803), Additional S2 data from AP155 @f5.3 (Alta U16M)
Processing: Pixinsight & Photoshop
Guiding: OAG in TEC and focuser mounted guider on AP155

So all together it's a mix of everything :p

Wow - what a top image!
Beautiful colours & it's sharp.

It's just as good as this APOD:

Very nice result Raki but my neck is getting sore form trying to see it the right way up!

Not that there's a right or wrong way but to me it looks very strange with that sideways orientation.
Maybe it's just me though

Lovely rich colours too!

Thanks Guys. Agree with you Andy on the framing. Realized it a bit too late down the track and probably can rotate it to make it better but ideally I would frame it a bit differently if I could go back.

Every so often an image pops up on IIS that is a bit like hearing an bluesy Steely Dan riff on an otherwise dreary FM station.....it's like a breath of fresh air. (well.... for me at least )

No popular muzak here!

Simply a great image.

Needle like stars, superb dynamic range, wonderful contrast and colour.

Nice one

Thank you guys, Some very motivating comments and pointers for me to persist with the otherwise challenging task of processing the data and improve along the way.

Magnificent image and well processed. I like the way the nebula features aren't overpowered by the tiny stars.
