A Couple in Centaurus

Bert

Astrograph is an Officina Stellare RH200 which has a focal length of 600mm and is F3. Clear aperture is 200mm.
FLI Atlas Focuser.
FLI ten position filter wheel CFW-3-10 with 50mm square filters.
Astrodon E series LRGB and HA, NII, SII and OIII 3nm NB filters. Also a continuum filter 5nm.
Camera is a FLI PL16803 which has a sensor size 36.8 X 36.8 mm.
The FoV of this system is 3.5 X 3.5 degrees.
Mount is a Software Bisque PMX.

mustve been a killer downsizing that under 200kb!
great pairing and always good to see a couple of deep objects in the same framing.

The 200kb version just doesn't do it justice to the sheer number of stars in that image! Nicely done Bert. At this rate you'll have good portions of the sky mapped in no time

Wow, Bert - what a stunning image. Not only an overwhelming star field but also with beautiful Omega Centauri and Centaurus A in the same fov - they're about 4.5 degrees apart? And what equipment do you use - so sharp! Great work.

Wow Bert indeed! You're still the wide field king! Great detail on background objects as well. Like that edge on spiral (??) in the bottom middle..

I think your 200k version should just be a jpeg of the URL to the larger version. Otherwise it really does not do the image justice.
