Sky watcher 102 + baader FK

Hi All,
I gave the Sky watcher 102 (acromat) a go at some objects last night using a Baader Fringe Killer filter, I dident get the subjects in the centre of the picture so you can see the Coma distortion, these Scopes are for visual work really, but if you had to you could get reasonable results from one using the BFK filter, I havent done any touch up work on these pix so you can see the blue halos around the stars, I wanted to see if the extra size would help in low surface brightness objects (with the idea of getting an 102 mm ED scope) but dident notice any improvement, not a fair trial I suppose.

M-33 9 x 5 Min. ISO1600 DF removed (but old DF)

ngc253 4 x 6 Min. ISO-800 DF removed

M42 4 x 6 Min. ISO 800 DF removed

all guided.

cheers.......Jim

Jim,

That M42 looks smokey -- so beautiful.

Lovely work on M33 as well; can see some detail in the arms.

Well done.

Regards,
Humayun
