The Great Orion & Running Man

Hi again all

I wanted to share with you all, a shot I took up at Linden a couple of months back that I was happy to capture.

"The Great Nebula in Orion and The Running Man"

This region was one of the main reasons I decide to buy the little scope !
Yes It's just one of those objects that we all want to image at some time or another and I for one was glad I could fit It on my chip, well almost .

Exposures were only 4 minutes x 7 (you guessed It clouds) and unortunately I didn't get a chance to grab some shorter exposures for the core.

Shot with the ZS 66SD and the SXV-H9C and post processing in CS2.

Hope you like It .

Louie,

I remember that night quite well; the Land of the Long White Cloud.

That's turned out so dreamy. I love it.

Regards,
Humayun

And this shot of M42 with the ZS 105 was taken out at Zane's Hammonds place early on this year.

Exposure again were short at 60 seconds x 8, so only 8 minutes worth but hey at the time It was better than nothing! you can't beat mother nature

Another two beauties Louie, well done.
Orion is just one of those areas that you can never tire of imaging, there is just so much to see in that region as well as a million different ways to image it all.

great work
