C9.25 case

Hi, if anyone is looking for a case for their C9.25 OTA, the Kincrome 700mm Mobile Utility Bag (Part No. K7420) does the trick nicely. Snug fit and will even accommodate a small rdf. The case is available at larger hardware stores for around 80 bucks -your favourite internet search engine should have you find it...
Regards, Dean

Thanks very much! I've been trying to find a suitable carry box/bag for my 9.25" - this looks like just the shot. Bunnings claims to have it; have to find a store now.

A pity, I would love one just a little longer so I can pack my scope with the diagonal still on it. PLus I think it is just a touch short for mine as I have a Feathertouch focusser on it and that protrudes a bit more than the standard one.

I had to remove my Crayford focusser from the back of the OTA to get it to fit in the bag. However the was room in one corner to keep the focusser inside the bag. On the other hand the OTA fits nicely even with a dovetail bar top and bottom.

oh yeah -perhaps I should have mentioned that the length of the bag is only suited to stock standard C9.25 OTA's, ie with no added extra's for length. I placed the two semi-solid velcro dividers at each end of the OTA for some added support. The bag is certainly not solid enough to protect the OTA as check-in luggage, but it really does do the trick as far as helping with loading up and strapping into the back seat of the 4WD.
