Thumbs up Member Map goes Beta

For those of you who have longed to appear as a little red dot somewhere in the world - here it is. I've finished the member map.

It still needs some work and I'll try and get higher resolution maps to be able to zoom in to your state/country. But I'm still waiting for NASA's Visible Earth site to come back online so I can download the hi res images.

If you have any suggestions, let me know and i'll see what I can do.

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/plot/

It's fairly accurate. So if you happen to appear in the ocean, don't abuse me - i'm just plotting you where you told me to

have fun.

I actually thought I had my s#$t sorted, but no dot. Maybe in stealth mode.
Not sure. I do like being anonymous anyway.

Gary,
I think you need to change the format for your Lat & Lon to xx.xxx
Like -40.350 & 175.617 for me.

PS.. You've got me hot on the next version of Star-Mate... It's gonna have an integrated USB hub, and integrated USB-Serial-LX200 control..

Cheers

OK, done it. And in decimal as per the Heaven Above page.
Don't blame me for the next version of this monster you have created, I am happy with the earlier version. It sounds like a winner.
Gary
P.S. can I have a dot now?? Please.
